From my Bible Reading:

The following verse from my reading jumped out to meet me this morning:

"These are the clans of the sons of Noah, according to their genealogies, in their nations, and from these the nations spread abroad on the earth after the flood"

(Genesis 10:32).

I think genealogies are fascinating! Others have come before us, and each person of our lineage had a life with stories to tell. You and I have stories to tell with our lives too.

What kind of stories are we creating from our life choices?

Remember, we are all related, for all of us are decedents of Noah! JESUS too! "the son of Cainan, the son of Arphaxad, the son of Shem, the son of Noah, the son of Lamech, (Matthew 3:36).  Four historians recorded and told of our relative Jesus: Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Have you read their accounts of who Jesus was and is?

If you have, you have you read about His life choices?  Mark sums it up fairly well: "even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many" (Mark 10:45).

Will you read the stories of the Messiah, Jesus Christ in this New Year of 2023 and get to know Him better?

Please do, for Jesus has the power to change your life story for good. Will you choose to let Jesus into your life story? For if you do, He will help you with the choices of life that are before you in 2023!
