Connie's Corner:
We realized today, looking at our website, that our last "quarterly" newsletter was last year. And it's now the end of June 2025. Oops! I guess this will be our biennial newsletter this year.
The truth is we've been too busy living our news to do much writing about it. As last reported, we had purchased and fixed up a 2007 travel trailer (named Rosa) to live in after selling our Montana house with the goal of a move to Canada and building a small house on our lot in my old hometown. We are now happily (if a little too "cozily") settled into Rosa and have been for a month. We completed most of the updates we had planned to our Montana house and sold it to friends without it ever setting foot on the market. We are still in Montana for July (planning to head to Canada the tail end of July) so Mark can get in on fishing-guide season in Montana in June and July. Rosa is parked on a kind friend's property with some beautiful mountain views.
Seeing my house-cleaning time has greatly diminished, I've been keeping busy with various writing-related projects while Mark spends his days on the river. Most recently, we self-published (through Amazon) a joint effort: We combined my book, Look Around! Ten Observations That Lead to One Conclusion (a "reasons to believe" kind of book) with Mark's devotional-theology book, HE IS! Knowing God through Fifty Scriptural Meditations. We've published these in one volume as QUEST: Exploring the Christian Faith. If you happen to be reading this during the window of Friday, June 27-Monday, June 30 (2025), you can get the free e-version through Amazon.
I've also been working on another (and the final...I think) book in my Bible study series (the "God's House" series) called, The City and the Celebrations. I'm hoping it will be completed soon and also self-published through Amazon.
Additionally this year, I recorded another audio book and have the videos of the audio up on my YouTube channel. This book is the second in the "History Weaver" fiction series that is based on my "God's House" series of Bible studies. The two books in the "History Weaver" series are The Carpenter and the Cradle: A History Weaver Adventure and The Curses and the Covenants: A History Weaver Mystery. Both the aforementioned series are available in paperback and e-versions through my Amazon page (which you can find through heisministries.net), but the two fiction books are also available as audio books, and you can give them a listen for free through YouTube.
Phew! That's not the sum total of everything we've done in this first half of 2025, but those are the highlights. Plus, I'm writing first, so I need to leave a little margin of news for Mark to tell.

Mark's Margin:
I'm loving being on the rivers of southwest Montana sharing beautiful float fishing experiences with my guests. Best gig ever to get paid taking others fishing. We are squirreling our funds away for the house build in BC, Canada. Prayers appreciated! I now have the documentation in hand to land in Canada and complete the process to get my permanent resident visa at the end of July.
It was quite the chore to downsize our belongings and wrap up the stewardship of the home in Dillon. There were many trips to the dump and much selling off or the things we had no room to take to Canada with us. We are now settled into the travel trailer and a 14 foot cargo trailer. However, the wood shop tools are being stored at a gracious friend's house to be retrieved once we have the home built up north.
When I met Connie in January of 2023, I knew that she was an indie Christian author that needed to be discovered. Now, having read many of her fiction works this past winter and spring, I'm even more convinced that God has a purpose beyond us in her writing. If you have been blessed by Connie's writing, we ask that you tell others about her books and leave some reviews on Amazon to not keep her writing gift a secret. Here is the link to Connie's Amazon book Page: https://www.amazon.com/stores/Connie-Cook/author/B007PSPG8Q ----- I hope you will enjoy her writing as much as I do.
The purpose of life is to know and be known in loving relationships with God and others. We thank you for your friendship, prayers, and support and would love to hear from you from time to time. So, please reach out with a short note to let us know how you are doing and how we might be of some prayer support for you. If you would like to give the PDF version of HE IS to another as a gift, you have my permission to give it away to anyone who would give it a read. If you need a free PDF version, contact us through www.heisministries.net.
Blessings to you and yours as you seek the Lord together. We pray you will feel and know more intimately His presence in your life today.

Sincerely, Mark Worden
